Two Macon head football coaches leave their positions

Southwest Athletic Director is the McDonough HC; Walls leaves to run family business

MACON, Georgia  (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Macon Head Football Coaches are leaving the places they’ve called homes for years.

Southwest High School Athletic Director and head coach of the football program, Joe Dupree, has accepted the head coach position of the McDonough Warhawks football team.

Meanwhile, Jake Walls, the former CFCA principal, athletic director and head coach of the Lancers football program, is leaving after eight years with the school.
