Two Local Sheriff’s Offices Bust man for Meth Lab

The Bibb and Jones County Sheriff’s Offices worked together to uncover the remains of a Methamphetamine Lab in Dry Branch.  42-year-old Anthony Lewis is charged with trafficking meth. 

Investigators received a tip that Lewis was making the drug at his EastBibbCounty home.  He had a warrant out for failure to appear in court, so deputies had just cause to search his residence.  When drug investigators arrived Monday morning they found Lewis in a rear bedroom with drug evidence in plain view.
