Two killed in Peach County crash

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two Fort Valley residents are dead after a Monday morning crash in Peach County.

According to Georgia State Patrol, a Ford Explorer was traveling north on Georgia 49 around 11:30am.

The incident report shows the vehicle left the road, hit a tree and then rotated before coming to a stop.

GSP reports both the driver, 33-year-old Ashley Harris, and the passenger, 51-year-old Rosalie Lawson, died from their injuries.
