Two elderly ladies injured in downtown Macon car crash
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two women were sent to the hospital after they were involved in a car accident in downtown Macon.
Authorities say the crash happened around noon at the intersection of Poplar and Second Streets.
Louis Patterson, 66, was driving a 1986 blue Toyota Camry when he ran into Ricky McDermon’s 1997 red and black GMC Sonoma.
Abbie Edwards, 86, and Geraldine Olowu, 68, were passengers in the Camry and were taken to Navicent Health for treatment.
McDermon was not injured.
