Traffic stop in Reynolds leads to drug charges, arrests of two with felony warrants
According to the Reynolds Police Department, an officer pulled over 42-year-old Robert Slaton for a window tint violation.

REYNOLDS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A routine traffic stop in Reynolds on Tuesday led to the arrest of two individuals facing multiple charges, including drug possession and outstanding felony warrants.
According to the Reynolds Police Department, an officer pulled over 42-year-old Robert Slaton for a window tint violation. During the stop, the officer determined Slaton was driving with a suspended license.
His passenger, 47-year-old Kelli Murphy, initially provided a false name to officers. Further investigation revealed that both Slaton and Murphy had multiple outstanding felony warrants. Police said they found suspected methamphetamine and drug-related items in the vehicle after establishing probable cause to search it.
Slaton and Murphy were taken into custody and are facing several charges in connection with the stop.
