Two arrested in stolen vehicle chase in Macon
Deputies say they received an alert about two stolen vehicles in the Pleasant Hill area.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrests two men accused of driving stolen vehicles.
Deputies say they received an alert about two stolen vehicles in the Pleasant Hill area. After finding the vehicles, a Georgia State Patrol trooper stopped the drivers, Jaylen Murphy and Christopher Cornelius Jr., on Grant Avenue.
The trooper says the suspects sped away before being stopped after a brief pursuit. The men then jumped out and ran off, but were arrested after a short foot chase.
Deputies say they found a firearm and illegal drugs when searching the vehicles.
