Brothers arrested in south Macon for theft

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Sean and Nicholas Floyd were taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two brothers are in jail after the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says they ran from deputies on Wednesday.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Sean and Nicholas Floyd were taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

Deputies say the men took items from someone in a parking lot on Pio Nono Avenue. The say the suspects also smashed a truck window and stole items from inside the vehicle.

The sheriff’s office says deputies tased Nicholas after he refused to comply with commands. He was checked out by EMS on the scene.

The stolen items were returned to the owners.
