Two arrested in Reynolds after traffic stop leads to stolen firearm, drugs recovery

Police Find Drugs And Stolen Gun During Traffic Stop

REYNOLDS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men have been arrested after a traffic stop for a suspended registration lead to the recovery of a stolen firearm and felony drugs on Sunday, according to the Reynolds Police Department.

The traffic stop happened on February 16. Corporal Mischel stopped a white Ford Expedition for suspended registration. Mischel says he could smell marijuana during the traffic stop.

Officers say they found a stolen .38 caliber pistol, marijuana, and a scale on the driver. The driver was identified as 34-year-old Markell Ramon Collings. Police found suspected crack cocaine and a smoking pipe on the passenger, 61-year-old Robert Bryan Wormley.

Collins was charged with operating vehicle while registration suspended, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, and theft by receiving stolen property.

Wormley was charged with VGCSA schedule II-cocaine, possession of drug related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and giving false name DOB to LEO.
