Two arrested in Bibb County mail theft investigation, two others still wanted

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were arrested after being identified as suspects in a theft of mail investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
26-year-old Anthony Tyler Thomas and 28-year-old Toni Jones-Coleman, both employees of the United States Postal Service, were arrested following a collaborative investigation between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Postal Service.
Thomas was apprehended Monday morning, March 30, at the Zebulon Road Postal Office during his shift and transported to the Criminal Investigation Division before being taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He was charged with theft by possession of stolen property, a felony, and has since made bond.
Jones-Coleman was arrested Tuesday, March 31, just before 1 p.m., after turning herself in at the Criminal Investigation Division. She was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with theft by taking, a felony. She has also made bond.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating two additional suspects, identified as 46-year-old Summer Battle and 30-year-old Savon Lashaun Harris, both former Postal Service employees. They are wanted in Bibb County for theft by possession of stolen property, a felony.
