Two arrested for multiple drug charges in Monroe County, investigation underway

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were arrested for trafficking cocaine and other drug charges on Monday, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened at 8:51 a.m. on December 30 at the Forsyth Gardens Apartments.
Investigators conducted a search warrant after receiving information that Tramaine Haynes was involved with selling illegal narcotics in the apartment.
During the search, investigators located two crack cocaine “cookies” weighing approximately 41.1 grams, other smaller pieces of crack cocaine that weighed approximately 18 grams, a baggie of powder cocaine weighing approximately 9.3 grams, over 140 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Tramaine Haynes and Taquilla Williams were both arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of controlled substances near public housing and possession of drug related objects.
Williams was also charged with violation of family violence order.
Haynes and Williams are being held at the Monroe County Jail without bond. Haynes was granted a bond by the court in November for the exact same charges.
