Twiggs Deputies Discover Rolling Meth Lab

A traffic stop in Twiggs County revealed a rolling meth lab. 26-year-old James Matthew Tanner and 30-year -old Casie Lynn Adams are charged with the manufacturing of methamphetamines.

The pair were driving down Hwy. 57 at Ridge Road Monday, when a deputy stopped their pickup truck for erratic driving. The couple was also cited for not wearing their seatbelts. Tanner admitted to drinking while driving and led the deputy to a toolbox in the truck where he had been cooking meth.

“It was real good work on his part to look past the citation and find the meth lab in this vehicle and take these two people off the streets that were manufacturing this terrible product,” said Chief Deputy Billy Boney of theTwiggs County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators uncovered two large bottles with the drug. Both suspects are being held at the Twiggs County Law Enforcement Center.
