Twiggs County Thanksgiving Shooting

Twiggs County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for a suspect involved in a Thanksgiving shootout in Danville.

Chief Deputy Billy Boney says two people were shot at a home on First Street.

Deputies found one of the suspects, who was armed, barricaded in a nearby home.  The suspect surrendered after a brief standoff.

Authorities continue to search for the other suspect.

The two victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
