Twiggs County Schools Closed Friday

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The ice storm that moved through Middle Georgia knocked out power for the Twiggs County School system.

According to a spokesperson with the district, schools are closed Friday for students, staff, and school-based personnel.

Custodians, principals, and central staff should report to work at 8 a.m.
