Twiggs County Schools announces Roderick Cummings as new head football coach

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Twiggs County schools announced Friday that Roderick Cummings will be the Cobras’ new head football coach.

Cummings comes to Jeffersonville with 12 years of high school football coaching experience, with his most recent role being at Baldwin High School, where he served as the associate head coach and the defensive coordinator.

A native of Macon, Cummings graduated from Westside High School in 2004 and earned an athletic scholarship to play football at Albany State University, where he won 3 SIAC championships with multiple appearances in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
