Twiggs Co. Family Continues Search for Missing Man

It was a tough Christmas for the family of a missing Twiggs County man. 47-year-old Troy Burnett was last seen a week ago on December 19th. After a search by the Twiggs County Sheriff’s department found no trace Burnett, the family and authorities turn to the public for help.

“Well we haven’t had a Christmas,” said Ida McClinton, Troy Burnett’s mother.

Burnett was last seen in Twiggs County by a neighbor on Highway 80. Twiggs County Sheriff’s Deputies and family members continue to search for Burnett near his home on Galamore Mill Road. The family says Burnett takes walks almost everyday.
