Roads blocked in West Bibb County, traffic signal issues reported
Officials warn drivers about storm-related road hazards and signal outages across parts of Macon-Bibb County.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- As of 10 a.m. Thursday, officials reported several road and traffic issues across Bibb County following early morning storms.
According to Macon-Bibb County spokesperson Chris Floore, Tucker Road was closed between Thomaston Road and Price Road due to storm-related hazards.
Officials also reported a possible power line down across North Mumford Road.
Drivers were advised to avoid those areas while crews worked to assess and repair damage.
Drivers urged to treat signals as four-way stops
Floore said drivers should use caution at intersections where traffic lights are flashing or not operating.
Motorists are asked to treat any flashing or non-functioning traffic signal as a four-way stop.
Officials also urged drivers to slow down and watch for crews working along roadways.
Crews responding across the county
Public works and utility crews have been responding to storm-related issues across Bibb County since before sunrise Thursday.
Drivers are asked to be careful around crews working to clear hazards and restore services.
