Tubman Museum Is Getting A New Look

A local business owner and a team of volunteers are helping revitalize one of Middle Georgia’s favorite museums.  The landscaping at the museum is being redesigned. Old plants are being up-rooted and new plants are being put in. Janel Bailey, president and founder of Xenos Hospitality, and several other volunteers are helping with the project.

Bailey says cultural arts attractions like the Tubman Museum are crucial in bringing outside money to Bibb County . ” It’s important when people come into our city that we welcome them with nice landscaping and they have a good first impression. That’s what we are hoping to do here “.
