‘Trust’ Draws Perry Shoppers to Downtown Stores

Many towns in middle Georgia are encouraging local shopping this holiday season. Residents of Perry say spending their dollars in town brings them a feelings of comfort and joy.

“Let’s shop local, let’s keep our money in our town,” says Perry Chamber of Commerce President, Megan Kelly.

It seems to be this year’s holiday slogan, but there’s also another reason people like, Grover Jewel, choose to spend their dollars in downtown Perry.
