Boeing, meanwhile, has secured a $2.7 billion contract to produce 3,000 Patriot missile seekers, which guide the interceptor missiles to their targets. The company said demand for the systems has spiked amid global tensions in Ukraine, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific.
The aerospace giant also reported delivering 55 aircraft in September — its highest monthly total since 2018 — as it works to stabilize production after years of safety and quality setbacks.
