Truck driver robbed at gun point, 2 suspects on the run

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two more suspects for their involvement in an armed robbery.

The incident happened around 2:36 a.m. Monday at the Kroger on Pio Nono Avenue.

According to a news release, three armed men approached a truck driver after a delivery and demanded money.

The suspects fled the scene after receiving an unknown amount of money.

Deputies found one of the men attempting to flee under the crawl space of an abandoned house on Lawton Avenue.

Harold Dewayne Preston II was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
