Tropical Storm Florence poses minimal threat to Middle Georgia, but still expect a few storms

Good evening,
Latest data coming in shows the forecast tracks from the past few days are still holding. This means a minimal threat for much of Middle Georgia.
What will continue to pose a threat however is the heat! Today we broke a record high temperature for this date, by making it to 99 this afternoon! It won’t be quite as hot tomorrow as more clouds move in,but it is pretty impressive for September 14th!
Heat sticks around tomorrow and a few storms will be possible. In any storms that do pop up, be aware that heavy rain will be possible as well as a few wind gusts. Otherwise it should be a pretty average summer day as Florence moves through South Carolina. Expect it to be pretty breezy throughout the day, but hey at least it will feel cooler with a breeze.

By Sunday the center of circulation from Florence will move further to the north and winds will likely pick up a bit. Highest wind gusts through the weekend will likely be close to 30 mph but not expecting much more than that.
