Trek-or-Treat for Jay’s HOPE

You can Trek-or-Treat for a good cause over Halloween weekend. Jay’s HOPE 5K Road Race and 1-Mile Fun Run sponsor Melissa Cowart has details about the event that helps benefit the foundation. Jay’s HOPE offers support to local kids battling cancer and their families. The funds raised through the 5K help the organization offer support to more families here in Middle Georgia. The Jay’s Hope Trek-or-Treat 5K Race and mile fun run are Saturday, October 29th. The Race begins and ends at Bass Pro in North Macon. The 5K begins at 8am and costs $25. The 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 9am and costs $15. All the proceeds benefit Jay’s Hope. To register visit www.active.com You can enjoy a pancake breakfast from 8:30am-11am for $5 per plate. After the race you’re invited to the Fall Festival! Inflatables, carnival games, face painting and concessions will be available. It costs $5 per wristband for children to enjoy these activities.
