Traffic Plan for Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration
You will want to plan ahead if you plan on driving to Friday night’s show in Warner Robins.· That’s because police will have several roads blocked.
Starting at noon, Third Avenue between Davis Drive and MLK Boulevard will only be open to pedestrian traffic. At 4, Demon Valley Drive will close. And at 5, southbound traffic on MLK Boulevard will be blocked from third Avenue to the entrance of Huntington Village.
The celebration starts at 6pm Friday at McConnell-Talbert Stadium and is free.
There are eight areas designated for parking.
– Crossroads School
– Rumble Academy
– Old Shoppette Area @ Education Way
– Sacred Heart Catholic Church
– Robins Federal Credit Union
– Macon State College
– City of Warner Robins Municipal Complex
There will be NO PARKING allowed along city streets, shoulders, rights of way, sidewalks or ANY of the improved grass areas of Sacred Heart Church or Macon State College property.· Improperly parked vehicles will be immediately towed at the owner’s expense.
You can enter the stadium at the Main Gate of the Stadium along with the Demon Valley/Davis Drive Gate.
Alcoholic Beverages, Glass Containers, Pets, Weapons of ANY Type, Fireworks, Bicycles or any Skateboard type mode of transportation are not allowed.
