Tractor Supply Hiring 100 Additional Workers at Distribution Center in Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tractor Supply is looking for 100 additional employees to work at its distribution center in Bibb County.

“This facility is actually going to serve about 180 to 250 stores in the Southeast region,” said Sheknita Davis, Macon-Bibb County Workforce Investment Board project manager.

The company originally projected to hire 200 workers, but now anticipates it will need more.

Construction is well underway at the $50 million dollar center. H&M Construction companies along with local contractors like the Appling Brothers are working to turn the once empty field into a 700,000 foot facility.
