ToyLady celebrates birthday in a unique way

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Florence Allen is known as the ToyLady to the children and parents that visit her store in Ingleside Village.

Every year on her birthday she throws a party for the children at her store, complete with cupcakes, activities, and door prizes.

This year’s celebration is extra special because it marks the store’s 10th year in business. Williams Fun Smart Toys originally started as an online shop before opening a store in Ingleside Village 8 years ago.

The store’s toys are unlike others because Allen chooses to focus on educational toys. The store does not carry any video games or electronic gadgets.

Allen said spending the day with the children is the best birthday present.
