Town Hall Meetings Show Residents Want Consolidation

Tonight, Macon and Bibb County residents sat down with state leaders to talk about merging together under one government.

“We talk about Macon like Macon is separate and Bibb County is somewhere else. Macon is Bibb County,” says Macon resident, George Muhammad.

State representatives and senators asked for input regarding consolidation from residents, and the consensus in the room was clear.
