Tommy Baldwin Racing Tests At Gresham Motorsports Park

JEFFERSON, GA – Tommy Baldwin Racing drivers Steve Park and Stephen Leicht arrived at Gresham Motorsports Park early Tuesday morning to test on GMP’s half-mile oval.

“The test was good today. This is a good place to make changes on the car without going through a lot of tires,” said TBR owner, Tommy Baldwin.

Tommy Baldwin Racing was formed in 2009 by the former NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Tommy Baldwin. The team competed in two full seasons with multiple drivers behind the wheel of the No. 36 Chevrolet and improved in the standings each year.

“The track is beautiful. This is the first time I have been here and I was really impressed with the race track,” said NASCAR driver Steve Park. “This track is most similar to Richmond. Richmond is a little bigger and the banking is a little more dramatic than the track here, but the corners are very similar to Richmond.”

Geoff Bodine will drive  the No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet in Atlanta this weekend.
