Tips to organize your outdoor storage
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Many of us will spend the summer months out by the pool or hanging out in our yards. Professional organizer Andi Willis shares different kinds of storage ideas that you can use to organize your outdoor items.
Willis says you don’t have to use storage ideas that are specifically for outdoor storage.
First, use a plastic drawer and store items in it. You can use buckets to divide the drawers and put smaller items inside, such as sunscreen and gardening supplies.
Another great thing to use is a laundry basket for toys. Willis suggests putting some holes in the bottom so the water can drain. Willis adds you can use a trash can to store pool noodles.
Finally, she suggests using a plant stand to hang your towels on to dry or store.
