Tips to organize your linen closet

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We all have that space where we store towels and sheets. Professional organizer Andi Willis shares some tips on how to make the most out of your linen closet.

Willis says the first thing you should do is pull everything out of your linen closet. You want to get rid of anything that is ripped, stained, or unusable.

You then want to put like with like, such as putting your towels together and your sheets together. Willis suggests using labels to clearly identify where everything goes. You can also use shelf dividers to keep everything organized.

Willis says you want to put the items that you don’t use everyday at the top of your linen closet and keep the items that you use most often in the middle.

Don’t forget to use your vertical space behind the door. Willis suggests using a show organizer to store small items such as towels, extra soap, or bathroom supplies.
