Tigers Woods And Phil Mickelson Prep For Masters At Arnold Palmer Invitational

ORLANDO, FL – Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson resume their road to the Masters, and it’s been a bumpy ride for both.

Woods and Mickelson are the best two players of their generation, with 122 worldwide wins and 18 majors between them. For nearly two decades, at least one of them won a PGA Tour event before arriving at Augusta National for the first major of the year.

But there’s a chance both of them will be winless going to the Masters for the second straight year. Some see that as more evidence that the next wave of stars is moving in.

Woods and Mickelson headline the field at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which starts Thursday at Bay Hill. Woods can only say he’s making progress on his swing. He calls his fourth swing change the most drastic ever.

41 NBC | WMGT-TV will have live coverage of the Arnold Palmer Invitational this Saturday and Sunday from 2:30 to 6 PM each day.
