Three people shot in Fort Valley, police investigating

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Three people were shot at University Villa Apartments in Fort Valley early Friday morning.

It happened around 3:30 a .m. when Fort Valley police responded to a call of someone fighting. When police arrived, they found 24 year old Brianna James, 23 year old Jikeriel Harris and 23 year old Deiontae Matthias with gunshot wounds.

James and Harris were shot in the upper torso and was taken to the Medical Center Navicent Health and are in stable condition.

Matthias was shot in the leg and taken to the Peach Regional Medical Center.
