Three men shot in three different parts of Macon Monday night
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating three different shootings that happened Monday night.
32-year-old Monterrious Digby of Macon was walking to a house on Mosley Avenue in west Macon just before 10 o’clock Monday night, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. He was confronted by another man who pulled out a pistol and shot Digby once in the right thigh. Digby was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
Deputies say around the same time, 31-year-old Jeffrey McCrary of Macon was walking home when he was shot in the 300 block of Rogers Avenue in north Macon. McCrary was struck in the left arm and right hip. He was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition.
About an hour later, 30-year-old Christopher Wynes of Macon was working on a car outside of his house at 5831 Leone Drive West in southwest Bibb County when shots were fired. Wynes was struck in the right foot. The suspects left in a dark colored SUV. Wynes was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health and is in stable condition. No one else was injured.
