Three arrested in connection to shooting in west Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people after a recent shooting. It happened off Woodward Avenue in west Macon.

According to a Facebook post by the Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped the driver of a car fleeing the area, and caught one of the suspects trying to run from the scene.

The other two were arrested during the traffic stop.

All three had multiple arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault and other offenses.

Deputies say they found a stolen gun inside the car, and the suspects admitted to being at the location of the shooting.
