Three Arrested for Vishnu Patel Murder

Macon Police arrested three individuals on Tuesday for the murder of Vishnu Patel on October 27th.

Outside of Sprint Food Store, Patel was in the backseat of a black Dodge Caravan. As he waited for his co-workers to close up the store, the store clerks were approached by three masked men and were held at gunpoint. While robbing them, Patel was fatally shot three times.

Those three individuals are 18-year-old Bershard Causey, 17-year-old Quentin Hodges and 18-year-old Germany Ray. The teenagers are being charged with felony murder. Ray is also being charged in the double shooting that took place outside of Scarlett Carson’s nightclub in mid-November.

This will be Causey’s 4th arrest and Ray’s 3rd. Both teens are being held without bail in the Bibb County Jail. Hodges is in the Crawford County Jail. This is his 1st arrest. Police believe Germany Ray is who shot 58-year-old Vishnu Patel.
