Thousands of kids celebrate Back 2 School Bash in Warner Robins
Sponsors and organizers gave away book bags filled with school supplies as the kids get ready for the upcoming school year.
Students even had the opportunity to get a free haircut from barbering students at Central Georgia Technical College before they walk back into school.
“These are students at Central Georgia Tech, both Macon and Warner Robins. And what they do, they do this daily in the program, and they’re just taking their service out into the community today,” Leon Towles, the Barbering Program Chair at CGTC said.
Towles says if parents couldn’t get their kid a haircut at the Back to School Bash, they can bring them to either Macon or Warner Robins campus to get a free haircut next Monday through Wednesday.
