Thousands Flock to Perry for Music Festival
PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Over a thousand people filled the streets of Perry for food, fun and plenty of local talent.
For the 3rd annual Perry Music Festival downtown Perry transformed into a musical venue with five stages, over a dozen musical acts and lots of different genres.
“The reason we started this whole Perry Music Festival three years ago was to bring the community together,” said Perry Mayor Jimmy Faircloth, “It’s an opportunity for people to come together and have food, fun and fellowship.”
Phillip Gibbs and his wife stopped by the music festival to hear some local talent.
“All those people are top notch,” Gibbs said,”and I think can do well just about anywhere.”
This year’s festival featured a long list of performers including Jubee, the Morning After, Caylee Anna and the Vineyard Band.
