Thousands attend Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Macon
“There’s so much love in the room. It’s easier to do this,” Trump said.
He began his campaign rally talking about his meeting earlier that day with African American pastors.
“So many came up to Trump Tower. It was one of the most inspiring meetings. It was unbelievable. The love they have for the people that they represent and people [in general] was incredible,” recalled Trump.
The crowd cheered as he reiterated his lead in the national polls.
“We’re winning in every single category. We’re winning in every single poll,” said Trump.
When addressing the next GOP debate hosted by CNN in two weeks, Trump said he’s considering not participating because he doesn’t think the news outlet treats him fairly.
“But I will do it if they give me $5 million to go to the [veterans],” Trump said.
Trump claimed his success as a business owner is what makes him the perfect presidential candidate.
“We are going to do something so strong and so bold, but we can’t take a chance. We can’t pick the wrong president,” said Trump.
He also discussed his idea to build a wall across the Southern boarder of the United States, repealing ObamaCare and his refusal to let Syrian refugees into the country.
“We can’t do it. We all have hearts. You know what I’m all for? I’m all for building safe zones in Syria which is much less expensive and believe it or not, they’d rather be there,” Trump said referring to Syrian refugees.
Trump closed his rally repeating his campaign slogan.
“We’re going to make this country not only great again, we’re going to make our country greater than it’s ever been before. We can do it,” said Trump.
Trump’s next campaign stop is Tuesday December 1, in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, according to his campaign website.
