UPDATE (4/1/2026 at 12:34 p.m.): A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a theft of mail investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

46-year-old Summer Clarisa Battle turned herself in at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center at 10:45 a.m. April 1.

She was charged with felony theft by taking. She has since made bond.

UPDATE (4/1/2026 at 11:25 a.m.): Another person has been arrested in connection with a theft of mail investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

37-year-old Savon Lashaun Harris turned himself in at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on April 1 at 5:30 a.m.

Harris was charged with felony theft by taking. He has since made bond.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating one additional suspect in connection with this investigation. The suspect is identified as 46-year-old Summer Battle. Battle is a previous employee of the Postal Service and is wanted in Bibb County for felony theft by possession of stolen property.

This incident is still under investigation, pending additional charges.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people were arrested after being identified as suspects in a theft of mail investigation, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

26-year-old Anthony Tyler Thomas and 28-year-old Toni Jones-Coleman, both employees of the United States Postal Service, were arrested following a collaborative investigation between the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Postal Service.

Thomas was apprehended Monday morning, March 30, at the Zebulon Road Postal Office during his shift and transported to the Criminal Investigation Division before being taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He was charged with theft by possession of stolen property, a felony, and has since made bond.

Jones-Coleman was arrested Tuesday, March 31, just before 1 p.m., after turning herself in at the Criminal Investigation Division. She was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with theft by taking, a felony. She has also made bond.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating two additional suspects, identified as Summer Battle and Savon Lashaun Harris, both former Postal Service employees. They are wanted in Bibb County for theft by possession of stolen property, a felony.
