The Wiz Live on 41NBC Tonight at 8pm

(NBC News) A holiday tradition that began two years ago with NBC’s live production of “The Sound of Music” continues tonight with another live musical production.

This time, it’s an all-star cast coming together for a revival of the film and Broadway hit, “The Wiz.”

Michael Jackson and Diana Ross gave a Broadway musical a whole new audience when “The Wiz” hit movie screens in 1978.

Now, on December 3, 2015 only on 41NBC, a cast of new actors give the classic a new twist. the all new cast includes Ne-Yoas the tin man, David Allen Grier as the cowardly lion, 19 year old new jersey teen Shanice Williams as Dorothy, and Queen Latifah in the title role.

The brand new take on ‘The Wiz Live’ can be seen here in Middle Georgia only on 41NBC tonight at 8pm.
