The Heat Cranks up a few Notches

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  We had another good afternoon weather wise today.  There is some clouds and sunshine, but showers and storms are at a relative minimum again today.  We will continue to have a small chance for a shower or storms until Midnight.  IF** we do see any showers or storms, they will have more heavy rain and lightning, but nothing severe.  Showers and storms will be possible again the next 7 days, but nothing really out of the ordinary.  We are used to showers and storms this time of the year and the weather really won’t be that bad.  The storm chances are around the 10-20% at best through Monday.  The better chances for storms will start pushing back into the forecast once we get to Tuesday and beyond next week.  Highs over the weekend will be very summer like and should actually be pretty close to normal.  Highs will be near 89-92 degrees for Saturday and Sunday, with highs near 90 for Monday.  Next week will feature better storm chances and more clouds, so temperatures will go back down into the upper 80’s.  Either way, should be a pretty “normal” next 7 days.  Have a great weekend folks!  -Chris   See yall on the news at 6, 10 and 11.
