DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Washington County Golden Hawks went on the road to take on the Dublin Fighting Irish in a first round matchup in the GHSA playoffs.
The Golden Hawks (5-5, 5-4) had won three in a row. Washington County lost to Dublin 14-7 on September 5.
The Fighting Irish (8-2, 8-1) had won four in a row. Dublin beat Dodge County 22-16 last week.
The winner of the game plays the winner of ACE and Fitzgerald.
