MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Washington County Golden Hawks went on the road to take on the ACE Gryphons in the regular season finale for both teams.

The Golden Hawks (6-4, 6-3) had won two straight and were looking for their first winning season since 2020.

The Gryphons (6-4, 5-4) had won three games in a row and were scoring 29 points per game in 2024.

This game determined the #4 seed in the GHSA 2A Division I playoffs.
