WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Demons took on the Perry Panthers at Herb St. John Stadium on Friday night.
The Demons (5-4, 2-2 in 1-AAAA) beat Ware County 48-44 last week and entered this game owning the tie breaker for 2nd in the region.
Warner Robins would reach the playoffs for 15th straight season with a win over Perry or a loss by Wayne County. The Demons beat Perry last season, 27-24.
The Panthers (4-5, 3-3 in 1-AAAA) were coming off a loss last week to Benedictine, the region champions. Perry could still finish second in the region by beating Warner Robins.
