The End Zone Highlights: Macon County Clashes With Southwest

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon County Bulldogs went on the road to take on the Southwest Patriots on Friday afternoon as part of the 2025 “Gridiron Classic” in Week 1.

The Bulldogs went 7-5 in 2024 and won Region 6-A Division II before losing in the second round of the playoffs.

The Patriots, under Joe Dupree who is now in his 13th season, went 4-7 in 2024, including a 26-19 loss to Macon County.
