FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Central Chargers took on the Dougherty Trojans as part of the inaugural “Gridiron Classic” at Fort Valley State University.

The Chargers were coming off a disappointing 1-9 season.

The Trojans, from Albany, went 4-6 in 2023.
