The Cavaliers sweep the Trojans with a 5-0 win on Tuesday and 6-1 win Thursday

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Mount De Sales Cavaliers (12-2-1) beat their GHSA District 6 Region rival, the John Milledge Academy Trojans 6-1 Thursday, after the Cavs won against the Trojans Tuesday 5-0 in Milledgeville.

Bricen Smith hit a home run in the bottom of the first for the Cavaliers to take a 1-0 lead. From there, Mount De Sales did not look back.

JMA takes on Tattnall Square Academy in a doubleheader on Tuesday, while MDS will face Cristo Bay Atlanta on Monday.
