The Arc Macon to host inaugural Halloween Bash

The proceeds from the event will help fund The Arc’s Summer Camp by offsetting camp costs and offering scholarships.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Arc Macon is hosting the inaugural Halloween Bash. The proceeds from the event will help fund The Arc’s Summer Camp by offsetting camp costs and offering scholarships.

The event is October 26 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Historic Macon Terminal Station. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Chief Administrative Officer of The Arc Macon, Katrina Spooner, says The Arc Macon offers community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Middle Georgia area.

The non-profit serves over 75 individuals and provides them with living amenities in one of the 12 residential homes, access to jobs, and activities in the local community.

General admission for the Halloween Bash is $30, table seating costs $40, and a table of 8 costs $300. Tickets can be purchased online.

Spooner says there will be a dance party, silent auction, Magic Mirror Photobooth, and festive fun. Spooner adds that this is a BYOB event, so bring your own drinks and food.

Halloween costumes are encouraged, but not required.
