Texas Roadhouse locations to donate profits to Red Cross for Irma victims

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The hurricane may have passed but its impact on families and communities in Texas is still being felt.

That’s why Texas Roadhouse is stepping in to help hurricane victims in the lone star state.

Locations across the nation today are donating 100% of their profits to the American Red Cross.

Brett Crossley says several Roadhouse locations and employees were affected so this donation to the American Red Cross is personal.

“There were a lot of people affected. It was a huge impact on a lot of people in the United States and members of our team specifically also so we wanted to make an impact there,” he said.

The location on Riverside Drive in Macon says they expect about to see about $10,000 profit coming in to the store today. The fundraiser will go on tonight until 10 PM.
