WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Drivers in Warner Robins should prepare for delays as the city temporarily closes two eastbound lanes of Watson Boulevard at Peacock Drive for repair work, city officials said.

The two eastbound lanes at the intersection will be closed while crews complete the work. Officials said the center turn lane will be used to accommodate eastbound traffic that does not take a detour.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and to allow extra travel time. Those heading to Robins Air Force Base may consider alternate routes, including Russell Parkway or Green Street, to avoid delays. Other eastbound drivers are also advised to plan detours in advance to minimize congestion.
