Temperatures warming back up
MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT)- After getting a break from the heat for a few days thanks to showers and storms, temperatures will warm into the middle 90’s by the weekend.
TONIGHT.
Showers and storms will dwindle away past sunset. A mostly cloudy evening is expected with temperatures in low 70’s.
TOMORROW.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are back in the forecast Wednesday. Coverage will increase throughout the afternoon and evening hours as temperatures climb into the upper 80’s and lower 90’s. Temperatures will fall back into the lower 70’s by daybreak on Thursday.
EXTENDED FORECAST.
Rain chances will slowly decrease through the rest of the week and into the weekend. With that, temperatures will be on the rise. We will see temperatures climbing into the middle 90’s by the end of the week with only isolated showers. The middle 90’s will hang around through early next week.
